But, delightfully, that’s just the beginning. Its positive effects span mental clarity, stress relief and concentration, taking in self-awareness, tone and strength along the way. Poses, breathing techniques and meditation combine to improve alignment and promote wellbeing.


We’ve settled on the approaches that we’ve found to have the most positive effects for our clients. Whether you like to dip an occasional toe into the world of yoga to recentre and unwind or it’s central to your wellbeing, our expert team of instructors are well-positioned to help all ages and abilities. Each of our instructors teaches the principles of yoga in their own way, so no two classes are the same. It’s worth trying them all to see which works best for you.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga

Suitable for all, including beginners


Hatha is a generic term for a variety of yoga styles – ours is relatively gentle and more relaxed, unlike more athletic forms, such as Power or Vinyasa.

 

Incorporating a series of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), the classes vary in style and vibe dependent upon your instructor. Try them all to see which works best for you.

 

Restorative Yoga

Suitable for all, including beginners

 

Gentle and relaxing, restorative yoga helps you unwind and ease your physical and emotional tensions.


Some asanas (poses) can be held for a while, which allows the parasympathetic nervous system – the rest and digest system – to truly function. Bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets are used to aid relaxation and restoration.

Meditation

Suitable for all, including beginners

 

Our 30-minute class walks you through a guided meditation that will allow you to let go of whatever’s going on in your head. Encourage your subconscious mind to filter through your thoughts and boost your emotional wellbeing.
